// TEAM

Weโ€™re not just the only Canadian team competing in American Flat Track, weโ€™re also the only female-fronted one.

As a new race team founded by Team Owner / Manager, Niki Kendall, NKR debuted its first ever rider in American Flat Track Singles class in 2021.

Hunter Bauer, national #24, is NKRโ€™s first rider out. He performed exceptionally well his rookie year in the series, making 9 Main Events out of the 14 we raced, including a top 5 finish. In 2022, our team made 11 of 16 Main Events, 7 of which were top 10 finishes, and took our first podium with a 3rd place finish. We did so proudly as one of only a couple privateer teams to make a podium all season.

With our accumulated years of business management experience, success in the sport of flat track and the integral alliances we have built, we are confident in our teamโ€™s ability to move up the ranks and stake some claim this season.

KTM

NKR is a KTM support team, and we will be on board the 2023 SX-F 450's this season.

KTM has a stellar and long-standing reputation as front-runners in performance, with motorcycles that have proven results across many motorsports disciplines. NKR KTM is proud to be a support team and pilot the orange bikes for our third season in a row in American Flat Track.

HUNTER BAUER, #24

Hailing from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Hunter Bauer has been racing since he was old enough to swing his leg over a bike. He has made short work of progressing through the ranks in Canada, racing Expert for the first time in 2019; held back only by the age restriction in the class, certainly not his talent.

Bauer made his AFT debut with NKR in 2021 at the age of 16. With two seasons under his belt, he will be back in 2023, sights set on the front of the pack.

With his natural talent and laser-focus on progression, his professional race career is definitely under way. NKR Canada is confident in his ability to make a mark in the sport, and he was a natural choice for the team.

NIKI KENDALL, TEAM MANAGER

With an education in Motorsports Management and an insurmountable passion for flat track racing, Niki Kendall has been involved in the sport in varying capacities for years now. President of Vancouver Flat Track Club; a western Canadian non-profit that organizes and promotes race events, and a west coast delegate for Flat Track Canada, she strives to support the regrowth of the sport on a national level.

Motorsports aside, Niki also has 20+ years under her belt in the Advertising Photography and Film industries.

Starting NKR Canada from scratch; and as the only female-fronted team in the paddock, to say she has something to prove would be an understatement. Nothing would give her greater satisfaction than seeing Canadians back on the podium in AFT, and she is committed to making that happen.

NKR Canadaโ€™s primary vision as a team is to reinstate Canadian presence in American Flat Track. With proper partnership support, skilled management and competitive motorcycles, it is our intention to give our riders the best possible chance at getting Canada back in the race to win.
